Soundwave Music Festival 2014 will be “making waves” in the Berlin/Ocean City area with three full days of excitement, great entertainment and live music performing a diverse array of musical talent and styles from all over the country. This three day music festival will be taking place during one of the biggest Bike Week events on the East Coast and is a not to miss opportunity! Aside from the great entertainment comes an awesome selection of food from our vendors and exhibitors selling unique items and products, games for all ages and much much more! On top of all this excitement and fun we will be having pony rides and much more activities for the whole family to enjoy! If you did not make it out to the 2013 “Labor Day Music Festival” featuring headliners Slaughter, Quiet Riot and other national greats, your not going to want to miss the 2014 “Soundwave Music Festival”! Please check the website and Facebook page (Airlift Entertainment) frequently for updates and band schedule for this amazing 2014 event. Soundwave is BYOB this year so please feel free to bring a small cooler, no GLASS bottles allowed.

Policies

Airlift Acres prides itself and strives to maintain a safe, comfortable and controlled environment to all patrons who attend our scheduled festivals or events. We want everyone to have a great and memorable experience. However, Airlift Acres treats any type of unruly or illegal behavior very seriously and will not tolerate any disorderly, drunk or offensive conduct. There will be NO refunds to anyone who is asked to leave or is removed from the event for any offense enumerated below. As such, the following rules and conduct will be strictly dealt with and enforced by event security and police:

Weapons of ANY kind are not allowed on the festival grounds. This would include any other type of illegal object that within the opinion or discretion of security or police could be potentially be converted or used as a possible weapon.

For security reasons any person entering the festival grounds will and may be subject to an electronic scan of their outer clothing or baggage.

For security reasons any person carrying any baggage, closed containers or back packs will and may be subject to an inside search of same.

Any refusal to allow security and/or police to search any bag or closed container is sufficient cause to deny entry to the grounds.

Absolutely no type of illegal drugs will be allowed.

Drunk and/or intoxicated behavior of any person(s) causing any type of unruly disturbance in public that either bothers or offends other persons will be immediately asked to leave and will be escorted off the property.

Any loud or unruly conduct of any person(s) shouting profanities or any other vulgar language, bringing attention to themselves, considered offensive and within hearing distance of others, will be subject to removal and escorted off the property without refund.

Weather Information: All scheduled festivals and Events are rain or shine. There will be no cancellations, postponements or refunds. Be sure to dress appropriately for weather related issues or concerns. We would recommend that attendees consider bringing the following items to keep handy in your vehicle or elsewhere

 

 

  • Raingear – small disposable poncho
  • Clothing with a hood
  • Extra pair of sneakers or shoes
  • Mud boots in the event of rain
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellent
  • Blanket for seating in designated areas
  • A bandana and/or hat for shade
  • Earplugs
  • Extra car keys to keep with you
  • Store your vehicle key code of your vehicle in your cellphone in the event of lost keys
  • Cellphone

 

Traffic and Parking: Law enforcement and security personnel will be assisting with directing traffic activities and parking.
Airlift takes no responsibility for damaged vehicles, lost or stolen property whether left inside the vehicle or brought into the festival grounds.

Designated and marked handicapped parking will be provided as well as handicapped accessible port o potties.

All visitors and patrons attending any festival or event at Airlift Acres agree to take on full responsibility knowing that the natural grounds and fields consisting of grass can be naturally not level in some areas which is out of the control of Airlift Acres. Visitors and patrons knowing this in advance assume any and all risks associated with a grassy field and sometimes unlevel environment.

Absolutely NO PETS ALLOWED. Only legitimate service animals, trained to assist an individual with a disability, are allowed. Please have proof of this with your animal’s certification information to show or you could be denied access

No Styrofoam coolers allowed

No Plastic grocery bags allowed

No large or oversized umbrellas

NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND! (this includes, but not limited to: glass bottles, glass food jars, or anything made of glass). Any and all glass containers will be confiscated upon entry to the festival and NO exceptions will be made

There are NO bicycles, scooters or skateboards of any type allowed on the grounds. Scooters and bikes will be allowed in the designated parking area only as directed by our parking attendants

Framed backpacks are not allowed

Only low back seated chairs will be permitted

Smokers are asked to use common sense when lighting up. Be courteous around others and use designated and approved smoking areas. It would also be great if smokers would kindly distinguish cigarettes in their own personal container of sort such as an aluminum can. Every cigarette butt thrown on the ground has to be picked up

Lost and found can be located in the security tent located near the festival entrance.

ATM machines can be located near the festival main entrance.

Airlift Acres reserves the right to add items or additional rules and restrictions as deemed necessary. There will be NO CHECK-IN AREAS for disallowed items.
